Chapter 129

Psm 129:1 〔上行之詩。〕以色列當說、從我幼年以來、敵人屢次苦害我、

Psm 129:1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

Psm 129:2 從我幼年以來、敵人屢次苦害我、卻沒有勝了我。

Psm 129:2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

Psm 129:3 如同扶犁的、在我背上扶犁而耕．耕的犁溝甚長。

Psm 129:3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

Psm 129:4 耶和華是公義的．他砍斷了惡人的繩索。

Psm 129:4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Psm 129:5 願恨惡錫安的、都蒙羞退後。

Psm 129:5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

Psm 129:6 願他們像房頂上的草、未長成而枯乾．

Psm 129:6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

Psm 129:7 收割的不夠一把、捆禾的也不滿懷．

Psm 129:7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

Psm 129:8 過路的也不說、願耶和華所賜的福、歸與你們．我們奉耶和華的名、給你們祝福。

Psm 129:8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
