Jas 4:1 你們中間的爭戰鬥毆、是從那裏來的呢．不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的麼。
Jas 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Jas 4:2 你們貪戀、還是得不著．你們殺害嫉妒、又鬥毆爭戰、也不能得．你們得不著、是因為你們不求。
Jas 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Jas 4:3 你們求也得不著、是因為你們妄求、要浪費在你們的宴樂中。
Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Jas 4:4 你們這些淫亂的人哪、〔淫亂的人原文作淫婦〕豈不知與世俗為友、就是與 神為敵麼．所以凡想要與世俗為友的、就是與 神為敵了。
Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 你們想經上所說是徒然的麼． 神所賜住在我們裏面的靈、是戀愛至於嫉妒麼。
Jas 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
Jas 4:6 但他賜更多的恩典．所以經上說、『 神阻擋驕傲的人、賜恩給謙卑的人。』
Jas 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Jas 4:7 故此你們要順服 神．務要抵擋魔鬼、魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 你們親近 神、 神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪、要潔淨你們的手。心懷二意的人哪、要清潔你們的心。
Jas 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Jas 4:9 你們要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣．將喜笑變作悲哀、歡樂變作愁悶。
Jas 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Jas 4:10 務要在主面前自卑、主就必叫你們升高。
Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Jas 4:11 弟兄們、你們不可彼此批評．人若批評弟兄、論斷弟兄、就是批評律法、論斷律法．你若論斷律法、就不是遵行律法、乃是判斷人的。
Jas 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
Jas 4:12 設立律法和判斷人的、只有一位、就是那能救人也能滅人的．你是誰、竟敢論斷別人呢。
Jas 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Jas 4:13 嗐、你們有話說、今天明天我們要往某城裏去、在那裏住一年、作買賣得利．
Jas 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Jas 4:14 其實明天如何、你們還不知道。你們的生命是甚麼呢．你們原來是一片雲霧、出現少時就不見了。
Jas 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Jas 4:15 你們只當說、主若願意、我們就可以活著、也可以作這事、或作那事。
Jas 4:15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
Jas 4:16 現今你們竟以張狂誇口．凡這樣誇口都是惡的。
Jas 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Jas 4:17 人若知道行善、卻不去行、這就是他的罪了。
Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
