Chapter 26

Job 26:1 約伯回答說、

Job 26:1 But Job answered and said,

Job 26:2 無能的人、蒙你何等的幫助．膀臂無力的人、蒙你何等的拯救。

Job 26:2 How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

Job 26:3 無智慧的人、蒙你何等的指教．你向他多顯大知識。

Job 26:3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

Job 26:4 你向誰發出言語來．誰的靈從你而出。

Job 26:4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?

Job 26:5 在大水和水族以下的陰魂戰兢。

Job 26:5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

Job 26:6 在 神面前陰間顯露、滅亡也不得遮掩。

Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

Job 26:7 神將北極鋪在空中、將大地懸在虛空．

Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Job 26:8 將水包在密雲中、雲卻不破裂。

Job 26:8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

Job 26:9 遮蔽他的寶座、將雲鋪在其上．

Job 26:9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.

Job 26:10 在水面的周圍畫出界限、直到光明黑暗的交界。

Job 26:10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

Job 26:11 天的柱子因他的斥責震動驚奇。

Job 26:11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

Job 26:12 他以能力攪動大海、〔攪動或作平靜〕他藉知識打傷拉哈伯．

Job 26:12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

Job 26:13 藉他的靈使天有妝飾．他的手刺殺快蛇。

Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

Job 26:14 看哪、這不過是 神工作的些微．我們所聽於他的是何等細微的聲音．他大能的雷聲誰能明透呢。

Job 26:14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
