Act 15:1 有幾個人、從猶太下來、教訓弟兄們說、你們若不按摩西的規條受割禮、不能得救。
Act 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Act 15:2 保羅巴拿巴與他們大大的分爭辯論、眾門徒就定規、叫保羅巴拿巴和本會中幾個人、為所辯論的、上耶路撒冷去、見使徒和長老。
Act 15:2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
Act 15:3 於是教會送他們起行、他們經過腓尼基、撒瑪利亞、隨處傳說外邦人歸主的事、叫眾弟兄都甚歡喜。
Act 15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
Act 15:4 到了耶路撒冷、教會和使徒並長老、都接待他們、他們就述說 神同他們所行的一切事。
Act 15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
Act 15:5 惟有幾個信徒是法利賽教門的人、起來說、必須給外邦人行割禮、吩咐他們遵守摩西的律法。
Act 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
Act 15:6 使徒和長老、聚會商議這事。
Act 15:6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
Act 15:7 辯論已經多了、彼得就起來、說、諸位弟兄、你們知道 神早已在你們中間揀選了我、叫外邦人從我口中得聽福音之道、而且相信。
Act 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Act 15:8 知道人心的 神、也為他們作了見證．賜聖靈給他們、正如給我們一樣。
Act 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
Act 15:9 又藉著信潔淨了他們的心、並不分他們我們。
Act 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Act 15:10 現在為甚麼試探 神、要把我們祖宗和我們所不能負的軛、放在門徒的頸項上呢。
Act 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Act 15:11 我們得救、乃是因主耶穌的恩、和他們一樣、這是我們所信的。
Act 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Act 15:12 眾人都默默無聲、聽巴拿巴和保羅、述說 神藉他們在外邦人中所行的神蹟奇事。
Act 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
Act 15:13 他們住了聲、雅各就說、諸位弟兄、請聽我的話。
Act 15:13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
Act 15:14 方才西門述說 神當初怎樣眷顧外邦人、從他們中間選取百姓歸於自己的名下。
Act 15:14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
Act 15:15 眾先知的話、也與這意思相合．
Act 15:15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
Act 15:16 正如經上所寫的、『此後我要回來、重新修造大衛倒塌的帳幕、把那破壞的、重新修造建立起來．
Act 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
Act 15:17 叫餘剩的人、就是凡稱為我名下的外邦人、都尋求主．
Act 15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
Act 15:18 這話是從創世以來、顯明這事的主說的。』
Act 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Act 15:19 所以據我的意見、不可難為那歸服 神的外邦人．
Act 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
Act 15:20 只要寫信、吩咐他們禁戒偶像的污穢和姦淫、並勒死的牲畜、和血。
Act 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Act 15:21 因為從古以來、摩西的書在各城有人傳講、每逢安息日、在會堂裏誦讀。
Act 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Act 15:22 那時、使徒和長老並全教會、定意從他們中間揀選人、差他們和保羅、巴拿巴、同往安提阿去．所揀選的、就是稱呼巴撒巴的猶大、和西拉、這兩個人在弟兄中是作首領的。
Act 15:22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
Act 15:23 於是寫信交付他們、內中說、使徒和作長老的弟兄們、問安提阿、敘利亞、基利家外邦眾弟兄的安。
Act 15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
Act 15:24 我們聽說有幾個人、從我們這裏出去、用言語攪擾你們、惑亂你們的心．〔有古卷在此有你們必須受割禮守摩西的律法〕其實我們並沒有吩咐他們．
Act 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
Act 15:25 所以我們同心定意、揀選幾個人、差他們同我們所親愛的巴拿巴、和保羅、往你們那裏去。
Act 15:25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Act 15:26 這二人是為我主耶穌基督的名、不顧性命的。
Act 15:26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Act 15:27 我們就差了猶大和西拉、他們也要親口訴說這些事．
Act 15:27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
Act 15:28 因為聖靈和我們、定意不將別的重擔放在你們身上．惟有幾件事是不可少的、
Act 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Act 15:29 就是禁戒祭偶像的物、和血、並勒死的牲畜、和姦淫．這幾件你們若能自己禁戒不犯、就好了．願你們平安。
Act 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Act 15:30 他們既奉了差遣、就下安提阿去、聚集眾人、交付書信。
Act 15:30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
Act 15:31 眾人念了、因為信上安慰的話、就歡喜了。
Act 15:31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
Act 15:32 猶大和西拉也是先知、就用許多話勸勉弟兄、堅固他們。
Act 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
Act 15:33 住了些日子、弟兄們打發他們平平安安的回到差遣他們的人那裏去。〔有古卷在此有〕
Act 15:33 And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.
Act 15:34 〔惟有西拉定意仍住在那裏〕
Act 15:34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.
Act 15:35 但保羅和巴拿巴、仍住在安提阿、和許多別人一同教訓人、傳主的道。
Act 15:35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
Act 15:36 過了些日子、保羅對巴拿巴說、我們可以回到從前宣傳主道的各城、看望弟兄們景況如何。
Act 15:36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the LORD, and see how they do.
Act 15:37 巴拿巴有意、要帶稱呼馬可的約翰同去．
Act 15:37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
Act 15:38 但保羅、因為馬可從前在旁非利亞離開他們、不和他們同去作工、就以為不可帶他去。
Act 15:38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
Act 15:39 於是二人起了爭論、甚至彼此分開．巴拿巴帶著馬可、坐船往居比路去．
Act 15:39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
Act 15:40 保羅揀選了西拉、也出去、蒙弟兄們把他交於主的恩中。
Act 15:40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.
Act 15:41 他就走遍敘利亞、基利家、堅固眾教會。
Act 15:41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
